When Santa is keeping busy making toys for boys and girls around the world, Mrs Claus is just as busy creating a both useful and beautiful items herself. And as it's less than two weeks left 'til the big day, holiday inspired items are at the top of the list of crafts in Mrs Claus' Craftshop at the moment.
These hearts baskets are pretty and very easy to make, and can be used in a number of ways. These aren't quite finished yet, as I'm going to use them on the tree they need to have some thread or paper handle to hang them from the branches. A friend made a whole bunch to use as take-home place cards for the guests at her Christmas party, and she's going to put a bit of home-made Christmas candy and a twig of holly in each of them at the time for the party.
This Santa bookmark was glued on white cardboard with a gold thread between the layers and then I just cut it out around the edges, and is to be used as gift tag for my presents. It's an easy, inexpensive and fun way to personalize the gifts and make the receiver feel special.
